Jason Scott Dolley is an American actor. He began acting at the age of 11, getting the lead role in the award winning short film entitled Chasing Daylight. He was then casted by director Mel Gibson to be 13-year-old T.J. Savage on the ABC TV series Complete Savages. Currently, he plays the rock-n-roll fanatic Newt Livingston in the Disney Channel series Cory in the House. He also stars in the Disney Channel film Minutemen, which premiered on 25 January 2008.

The 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony, honoring the best in film and television acting achievement for the year 2007, took place on January 27, 2008 and, for the 12th consecutive ceremony, was held at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, California. It was broadcast live simultaneously by TNT and TBS.
